AARVY HEALTHCARE LAUNCHES FIRST OF ITS KIND PROGRAMME

“OPERATION COMMUNITY HEALTH SAVIOURS

Aarvy Healthcare, New Gurugram's premier 200-bedded Multi Super Speciality Hospital, proudly unveiled its groundbreaking initiative, "Operation Community Health Saviours," during the annual event, Spirit of the Season - Christmas Carnival. The launch event, graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag, marks a significant milestone in community health and safety.

According to reports, about 40% of road accident victims died due to excessive bleeding before reaching hospitals.  Nearly 27% of the total deaths in India happen with no medical attention at the time of death.  Whereas, 7.5 lakh people die of sudden cardiac arrest every year in India, with over 80% of these emergencies occurring outside a hospital setting, only 1% Indians know how to carry out a CPR.  Therefore, “Operation Community Health Saviour" is a unique initiative of Aarvy Healthcare, aimed at empowering and training members of Residential Welfare Associations (RWA) and the community in Basic Life Support (BLS) training and life-saving skills.

The program aims to impart training during emergencies such as road traffic accidents, fires, falls, and other critical situations. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire vital life-saving techniques like first aid, CPR, and emergency response, contributing to a safer and healthier living environment.

Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, former Chief of Army Staff, lauded Aarvy Healthcare for taking the initiative to raise awareness in the community. He emphasized the importance of community participation in such training sessions, underscoring their potential to save lives during emergencies. Gen Dalbir also commended Aarvy Healthcare for its proactive role in fostering a culture of preparedness and well-being.  Presidents and Members of different RWAs who had volunteered to enroll maximum participants from their respective societies for Operation Community Health Saviours were felicitated by the Chief Guest, for their roles as torchbearers of the program.

School children and social groups participating in the annual Christmas Carnival event, added to the festivities with heartwarming performances, and attendees enjoyed multicuisine food stalls, joy rides, and game stalls for children.  The event concluded on a note of positivity, joy, laughter, and excitement, embodying the spirit of community well-being.
