 Dr Mayank Pushkar will lead as Sports Physiotherapist for Team India Men’s Disabled Cricket Team in T20 match against England

Dr Mayank Pushkar, who is a renowned Sports Physiotherapist, studied from England has been selected as Sports Physiotherapist for Team India Men’s Disabled Cricket Team. Team India will be playing T20 Series against England from January 28 to February 6th In Narendra Modi Stadium , Ahmedabad Gujrat. Dr Mayank Pushkar who is basically from Darbhanga Bihar has done his schooling from Holy Mission School and he has completed his higher study from Karnataka and Post Graduate from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom. 

Before this he has worked as Sports Physio for Team India Men’s Blind Cricket Team during 3rd T20 Cricket World Cup 22. For his hard work he has been felicitated along with team India by The President Of India. Last year in 2023 he has been awarded with B R AMBEDKAR award in New Delhi. He had worked with many sports Team and athelets of different games. Recently has has made a World Record as well in London Book Of Record- He is the First Indian Physiotherapist who has taken maximum no of workshop/ training ( 295+ ) in just 6 years time. 

Asking him about his experience working with differently abled cricketer as compared to normal cricketers he said that- While working with differently abled cricketers he has to faced many difficulties during the rehabilitation as we need to focus on the target based on their special ability. He also saya that these players have got special strong inner power through which they beat the game. He also says that the rehabilitation and treatment protocol, is based on what type of disability that player has got and accordingly he have to treat that player.

He also says that DCCI under the guidance of BCCI is working hard for the better facilities for these players.
